Der zweite Teil zu “Escape from City 17” von den Purchase Brothers war nach ihrem fantastischen Debut im Half-Life Universum einer der heiß erwartesten Fanfilme der letzten Jahre. Ich halte ja trotz tiefsitzenden Wünschen in der Fangemeinde nichts von Verfilmungen von Valves Spielen, aber solche Kurzfilme finde ich immer sehr sympathisch.

Escape From City 17 Part 2

A story about the connection that grows between two people during the battle for city 17. Made in the same gritty guerrilla style as the original, it was made on a $250 budget, previously owned/donated software, time, and an HVX200 camera.

Dan Trachtenberg hat mit seiner BlackBox-TV Folge (Sehr tolles Teil mit genialem Twist) und seinem Portal-Kurzfilm einige Köpfe in Hollywod auf sich aufmerksam gemacht.

Er wird wohl vielleicht bald ein Feature machen. Bis dahin gibt es dieses Portal-Filmchen, das ich irgendwie nicht so toll finde wie der Rest des Internets, aber es ist ziemlich nett.
