This is my full-sized walking replica of the robot TARS from the movie Interstellar. It took 3 months to build, and was unveiled at Emerald City Comic Con (Seattle) in March 2015, where it interacted with the public and even won me the “One To Watch” award in the costume contest!

The replica uses two iPads as computer readouts, and features a camera/monitor system to allow me to see in front of it. It also has an audio system, allowing me to talk to people or play sound effects.

Da es übrigens immer noch keine TARS Actionfigur gibt, was ich für einen handfesten Skandal halte, werde ich mir selbst eine bauen.
