Zum Kinostart von Jurassic World (12. Juni! #hype) öffnet die Mondo Gallery in Austin die Tore für eine neue Dinoshow. Mondo hat zwar bereits zusammen mit JC Richards den besten Jurassic Park Print aller Zeiten gestaltet, doch andere Künstler können bestimmt ebenfalls nette Ergebnisse aus dem Kultfilm basteln.

Hosting an entire gallery exhibit of new Jurassic Park artwork is a dream come true for us. It’s been over 20 years since the first film captured the imagination of the entire planet and we hope to recreate some of the wonder and excitement of the franchise with this show.

Die Liste der Künstler ist zumindest höchst beeindruckend: Jason Edmiston! Aaron Horkey! Nicole Gustafsson! Jock! Rich Kelly! Dan McCarthy!!! Francesco Francavillas Promo-Print finde ich hingegen eher nur ganz nett. Wie immer sauber gearbeitet, besonders die Insel gefällt mir. Aber von der Komposition doch irgendwo ein bisschen weird und lahm. Da darf mehr als ein umgedrehtes Jaws Poster kommen. My wallet is ready.
