Hier der sehr nette CGI Trailer zu Alien: Isolation von Creative Assembly, die nicht hinter der Ballerkatastrophe Colonial Marines stecken. In Isolation hat man nämlich das Gegenteil von CM produziert und lässt die Tochter von Ripley auf einer Station rumschleichen, die von einem einzigen Xenomorph bedroht wird. Das hat was von Outlast und den ganzen restlichen Indiehorrorgames der letzten Jahre, besticht aber mit äußerst hübscher Grafik und einer stichhaltigen Erweiterung des Alien-Universums. Insbesondere das Nostromo-Preorder-DLC lässt mich an das Projekt glauben: Sigourney Weaver (Ellen Ripley), Veronica Cartwright (Lambert), Harry Dean Stanton (Brett), Tom Skerritt (Dallas) und Yaphet Kotto (Parker) kehren zurück und leihen den Figuren erneut ihre Stimmen:

Players will be able to explore the Nostromo from habitation deck down through to engineering as they race to escape the terror that confronts them from within the depths of the ship.

Das klingt für mich so, als ob wir da tatsächlich Ridley Scotts Alien spielen können. Das Spiel erscheint am 7. Oktober 2014. IGN hat noch ein Gameplayvideo mit “Console Creative Lead” Al Hope, der das Gameplay vorstellt. Sieht ziemlich geil aus.
