I love how Hurwitz manages to effortlessly change between frightening and inspiring segments, then combining them altogether and achieving something truly greater than the sum of its parts, all while making you truly feel like you‘re part of that ride, forcefully but also joyfully trying to escape the surly bonds of Earth. This track keeps building and building, creating a nostalgic longing for times when man dared to dream this big, until you leave the atmosphere and literally feel weightless. “The Landing” is this score’s standout, rightfully so with its amazing full-on brass moments, but this is will be my favorite.
