Man darf wohl sagen, dass die vergangene TV Season eine der stärksten aller Zeiten war, wenn nicht sogar die beste aller Zeiten. Wir befinden uns zweifellos im “Golden Age” der Fernsehserien, aber das bedeutet auch, dass die Kategorien der Emmy Awards unglaublich hart umkämpft sind. Die diesjährigen Nominierungen werden von den üblichen Verdächtigen wie Breaking Bad oder Game of Thrones dominiert, aber auch neue Serie wie Fargo oder True Detective können mit Nominierungen, wenn auch ohne große Überraschung, strotzen. Mich persönlich freut die Nominierung von Silicon Valley in der Kategorie Beste Comedy Serie, wobei Christopher Evan Welch (RIP) durchaus eine Nominerung für seinen wunderbar schieren Peter Gregory verdient hätte. Die Awards werden am 25. August verliehen, Seth Meyers übernimmt die Moderation. Ich habe mal hinter meine Favoriten einen kleinen Emmy geklebt.
