‘Before Midnight’ übertrifft Erwartungen

Im Rahmen meines Jahresrückblicks listete ich auch meine Filmhighlights 2013 auf und Richard Linklaters ‘Before Midnight’, der große Abschluss der von mir geliebten Before-Trilogie, spielt da ganz oben mit dabei. Meine Erwartungen könnten nicht höher sein. Nun feierte der Film seine Premiere auf dem Sundance Filmfestival und die ersten Eindrücke trafen über Twitter ein. Ich lasse die mal für sich sprechen und sage nur, dass ich außerordentlich erfreut bin und es kaum abwarten kann diesen Film zu sehen.

I don’t think watching the trilogy back to back to back is ideal. You should wait weeks or months between viewing each film for full impact.

Wow! Morgen feiert übrigens Shane Carruths zweite Regiearbeit nach ‘Primer’ (2004) Premiere und da bin ich auch mächtig gespannt. In der Zwischenzeit gibt es ein paar neue Stills zum Film, die ein wenig mehr vom Setting in Griechenland zeigen.
