During a recent interview, The Social Network director David Fincher unveiled a promotional photo he hopes to use for his next film, a stateside remake of Stieg Larsson’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

The photo features star Daniel Craig half-hidden behind his co-star Rooney Mara, who is naked from the waist up and looking directly into the camera. The pair star as Mikael Blomkvist and Lisbeth Salander in this upcoming mystery, and the photo is said to be black and white, beautiful, and very artistic.

David Fincher doesn’t believe he’ll actually be allowed by the studio to use this photo for the poster as it now stands. It is possible, however, that he could turn this photo featuring a topless Rooney Mara into a viral poster only available on the internet. (via)
